Outsider Art Week 2009

The Outsider Art Fair kicks off with the American Folk Art Museum's Visionary Award Ceremony. This award, presented each January during Outsider Art Week, is sponsored by the Foundation for the Promotion of Self-Taught Art.
The first award recognized dealer Phyllis Kind for her pioneering work over the last forty years, fostering supportive relationships with collectors and artists alike while also writing and lecturing worldwide.

Phyllis Kind Gallery will be participating in the 17th Annual Outsider Art Fair to be held January 9-11, 2009 at the Mart in New York City.
The Fair is the main event of Outsider Art Week, presented by the American Folk Art Museum.
As always, the Phyllis Kind Gallery will be located at Booth #1 with an exhibit of Art Brut works and contemporary self-taught artists.
