Francois Burland

Francois Burland was born is Lausanne, Switzerland in 1958. Claiming that his teachers found him a stubborn and difficult student, Francois Burland left school before completing his secondary education. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the creation of large drawings and toy cars constructed from found objects. He likes rock music and he is presently living on a farm in Chexbres, Switzerland. Burland is represented in the Collection de l'Art Brut, Lausanne.
